तो सबसे पहले हम आपको बता दें कि विकासखंड स्तर पर क्षेत्र पंचायतों का गठन किया गया है। पहले इन्हें लोग क्षेत्र समिति भी कहते थे क्षेत्र पंचायत के प्रधान को ब्लॉक प्रमुख कहते हैं। ब्लाक प्रमुख का चुनाव सीधी निर्वाचन से निर्वाचित होकर आए सदस्यों में से बहुमत के आधार पर किया जाता है। यह सदस्य ही ब्लॉक प्रमुख को चुनते हैं। तथा जिस प्रत्याशी को इन सदस्यों द्वारा पूर्ण बहुमत मिलता है वहीं क्षेत्र पंचायत के नए ब्लाक प्रमुख होते हैं। इन पंचायत का सचिव BDO (block development officer) होता है। यहां भी वही 6 समितियां बनाई जाती है जो जिला पंचायत में बनाई जाती है। इस प्रकार यह सब मिलकर ग्राम विकास को आगे बढ़ाते हैं।

 So first of all let us tell you that Kshetra Panchayats have been formed at the block level.  Earlier these people were also called Kshetra Samiti, the head of the Kshetra Panchayat is called Block Pramukh.  The Block Head is elected on the basis of a majority of the members elected by direct election.  These members choose the block head.  And the candidate who gets absolute majority by these members is the new block head of the Kshetra Panchayat.  The secretary of these panchayats is the BDO (block development officer).  Here also the same 6 committees are formed which are formed in the district panchayat.  In this way, all of them together take forward the development of the village.
